This time, we visited REAL International School. Located on a vast campus in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, the school is adjacent to a private school attended by local children.
In 2020, REAL International School, along with Sri KDU International School, became part of XCL Education, a company based in Singapore that manages educational businesses.
The large grounds have been renovated and are beautifully maintained. The school boasts excellent facilities, offering a great environment for students to fully engage in physical activities and enjoy a school life.
This is a school where children who are not very confident in English can still join easily.
The following is an excerpt from the school's website.
In 35 years, REAL Schools have grown from a private school in a rented bungalow to 3 large purpose-built campuses in Shah Alam, Johor Bahru and Cheras, offering both international and national school syllabi. In that time, more than 25,000 students, many of whom have secured places at top universities including Cambridge University, have graduated from our schools.
As one of the pioneers in character education and the allrounder model of education, REAL Schools now offer, over and above our traditional focus on excellent teaching in all academic subjects, an expanded syllabus that includes programs to teach students “Real World Skills” and provide them with guidance and experiences, to discover themselves and the 4IR world, and find a career path that will resonate.
The Real World Skills Programme is an extension of their academic programme. REAL Education has in place specific programmes that will run in the course of every academic year to enrich the student’s education and impart these vital skills. ・Digital Skills ・Entrepreneurial Skills ・Global Skills ・Scientific Skills
・Performing Arts Skills ・Psychological Skills etc.

<Cafeteria>
It is a spacious and bright cafeteria with high ceilings. When we visited, it was lunchtime, and the students were having a birthday party during their lunch break. It had a very warm atmosphere.

Pasta, French fries, and other Western dishes.
There is a variety of dishes, including Chinese cuisine.
Things like pancakes that you can snack on for a light treat.
The total was around RM20 for vegetables, noodles, rice. It was enough for two big-eating adults.
<Kindergarten>
The kindergarten is in a separate building, with a colorful and cute exterior (≧▽≦).
