*STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is a new educational system for the 21st century, which differs from the traditional learning style of "teachers teach, and students memorize." To cultivate individuals with global competitiveness who can adapt to the international society, STEM education encourages children from an early age to engage with robotics, IT technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI), helping them develop the ability to "learn independently."

S: ScienceT: TechnologyE: EngineeringM: Mathematics

These four areas are the foundation of the STEM approach.

The goal of STEM education is not only to produce individuals skilled in "science and technology" or "IT," but its underlying purpose is to nurture children who can "learn on their own and understand independently."

The following is an excerpt from the website:

At Asia Pacific School, learning is prioritized above all else. However, the school’s educational philosophy extends beyond just the curriculum. It also places significant focus on the physical and emotional growth and well-being of each student. The belief is held that “well-rounded, happy and fulfilled children learn better.”

For this reason, the school provides a warm learning environment where students, parents, teachers, and staff show mutual respect, nurture friendships, and feel strong bonds. This approach is supported by various studies from around the world, and the outstanding academic achievements of the students are a testament to its success.

The history of Asia Pacific School dates back to its origins as a higher education institution specializing in technical education and training in Malaysia. In 2006, Asia Pacific Smart School was established with a vision to seamlessly integrate technology into the school curriculum and produce graduates equipped with a wide range of life skills and technical expertise, enabling them to thrive as immediately effective professionals in the real world.

Currently, Asia Pacific School is one of the prominent private schools in the Klang Valley, with over 1,800 students enrolled, including those following both the international and Malaysian national curricula. The school provides a well-rounded education with a focus on academics, character development, sports, and communication skills. As part of the International School Partnership (ISP), the school has implemented the ISP Amazing Learning Framework to create an environment that maximizes students' potential.

The world is changing rapidly, but by embracing flexible and innovative educational methods, we can cultivate the skills children need to succeed.

International Preschool (Kindergarten)

Based on the British National Curriculum, the program promotes balanced growth that includes individual skills, social skills, and physical development. Even young children as young as 18 months can utilize their creativity and curiosity to learn through purposeful play activities every day. By adopting a play-centered approach, children discover the world of learning as they engage in role play, becoming knights, princesses, local helpers, world travelers, archaeologists, and more.

Primary (Elementary School)

The best practices of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) thematic learning approach are utilized, and students are educated to develop a global mindset.

Along with acquiring academic knowledge, students also learn the skills necessary for the 21st century. As they deepen their understanding in each area, they also broaden their understanding of the world.

⚫︎ Secondary (Secondary Education)

In the Secondary program (Key Stage 3: Year 7–Year 9, and Key Stage 4: Year 10–Year 11), students work towards achieving the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education). While academic requirements are rigorous, students are expected to be independent and take responsibility for their learning. Teachers work closely with students, providing mentorship and support throughout this critical phase of their development.
